This daytime playgroup is for mothers of infants 0-18 months. Your babies can eat (whether breastfeeding or bottle feeding), nap, or play while you chat with other MOMs about the challenges you're facing and what’s to come. Learn from those who have been through it, share tips with each other and feel reassured that you’re not alone! Everyone is welcome, including expectant mothers and older siblings.
Just Beyond New MOMs Network
This daytime playgroup is for mothers of toddlers, generally walking to 3 years and siblings are welcome too. While your kids play, share tips with other MOMs or discuss your recent challenges with discipline, potty training, or other topics.
Play Dates
Meet with other MOMs in your area in a variety of social settings. Examples of play dates include: The Children's Discovery Museum, Great Brook Farm, Hands-on Art Museum, Hiking along the Nashua River Trail, The Imagination Concert, Kimball's Farm, Lowell Spinners, Parker Village Playground, Parlee Farm, Perpetual Motion, Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats, and Southwick's Zoo.
Other social events for members and their families
Our Halloween Party gives the kids an extra chance to dress up and get into the spirit of Halloween!
The Winter Carnival is a fun indoor event to break up the cold winter months! In the past we've hired an entertainer or rented a gymnasium and served pizza, giving the kids and parents an exciting chance to shake off the winter doldrums!
The Summer Picnic is a club favorite! The past several years we've held the picnic at Devens Mirror Lake. There's lots of food, ice cream sundaes, and crafts for the kids.
Date Night (for moms & dads only!) is a special opportunity for the adults to hang out. For the past several years, we've reserved space at an up-scale pool hall in Ayer. Members bring the appetizers and desserts, buy drinks at the bar, and spend a relaxing evening shooting pool, throwing darts, or chatting with other couples.
Girls' Night Out
If you’re unable to make daytime events, or if you just need some time away from the kids, join us for Girls’ Night Out! This informal get-together is an opportunity to get to know other MOMs, to discuss questions you might have about raising multiples, or simply to socialize. Girls' Night Out evenings include activities like jewelry-making, music at the Java Room, pottery painting at Magic Brush Pottery, candlepin bowling, dinner and drinks at Carraba's and On the Border, a movie night at Chunky's in Nashua, and a fun night of volunteer work at the Lowell Wish Project.
Guys' Night Out
In recent years, many new Dads of multiples have asked, "But, what about me?" Last year, with the help of two "club hubbies," we created Guys' Night Out events. Events have included events like the guys meeting up at Smokey Bones in Tyngsboro to watch the Red Sox or a Texas Hold-em tournament.
